24’’ x 24’’ acrylic on canvas. This painting was the first I’ve ever done using AI-generated imagery as my reference image. I used the midjourney AI bot to create a series of futuristic images of the Maine coast, selected my favorite, and did a painting interpretation of it, which you see here. I will probably use this tool more in the future until the robots kill us all and build lighthouses on floating spacedocks.
